YAKARTA, KOMPAS.com – The Minister of Administrative Reform and Bureaucratic Reform (Menpan RB), Tjahjo Kumolo, issued two Circular Letters (SE) to extend work from home to the State Civil Apparatus (ASN).
In the SE, Menpan RB stated that ASN works from home (Work from home/ FMH) will run until May 29, 2020.
“SE Number 54 of 2020 on adjusting the ASN work system to prevent the spread of Covid-19. Extension of the WFH until May 29, 2020,” Tjahjo told Kompas.com on Tuesday (12/05) / 2020).

The circular was guided by Presidential Decree No. 11 of 2020 on the Stipulation of the Presidential Decree of emergency and public health Covid-19 No. 12 of 2020 on the establishment of Nonalam Covid-19 disasters as national disasters.
In addition to adjusting the work system, Tjahjo also issued SE Number 55 of 2020 on restrictions on travel activities outside the region and / or mudik activities and / or abandonment of ASN to prevent the distribution of Covid-19.
According to Tjahjo, ASNs who are licensed or going home must complete the requirements set forth in the SE.
“The amendment was given permission to travel for ASN by considering various things, including showing an assignment letter from an office of at least one Echelon 2 official or head of office,” he said.
Then, Tjahjo continued, he should show the results of the negative Covid-19 test based on the Polymerase Chain Reaction Test (PCR) or Rapid Test or health certificate from the health service / hospital / puskesmas / health clinic.
The ASN must also show a valid identity card or government ID. Report round trip travel plans in the assignment area. If ASN violates the provisions, disciplinary punishment will be imposed.
