Jakarta –
The controversy over the distribution of funds (DBH) from the central government to the provincial government of DKI Jakarta spread to the Supreme Audit Agency (BPK) because it was linked to Finance Minister Sri Mulyani Indrawati.
Initially, DKI Jakarta Governor Anies Baswedan asked the Ministry of Finance to immediately find a shortage of profit-sharing funds for the provincial government he led. However, Sri Mulyani said that DBH would be paid after the results of the BPK audit.
BPK Supreme President Firman Sampurna also opposed it. He explained that there was no connection between DBH’s payments and the results of the BPK audits.
“It is also important to emphasize here that it is irrelevant to use the Supreme Audit Board review as the basis for paying DBH. There is no connection,” he said in a teleconference on Monday (11/05/2020).
He said that he had written to Sri Mulyani on April 28, 2020 on the subject of DBH.
“There is no relationship between the payment of the obligations of the Ministry of Finance to the Provincial Government of DKI or any local government, in relation to the insufficient payment of its obligations, in relation to the funds of participation in the benefits with the examination carried out by the Supreme Audit Board, there is no connection, “he continued.
He continued, what his institution carried out was an examination, while what the central government carried out in this case, the Ministry of Finance was the management of state finances.
“No one then regulates that the payment of obligations made by the Ministry of Finance, in particular the central government, is awaiting the results of the Supreme Audit Board audits, particularly with respect to income distribution funds.” , said.
He should write to Sri Mulyani. What’s inside Continues to next page.
