BANDUNG, KOMPAS.com – Police arrested four meat merchants in Bandung, West Java.
All four merchants claim they sell beef. In fact, the meat they sell is actually pork.
The police consider that the circulation of pork is sold as if the meat had been going on for almost a year.

This was revealed by Bandung Chief Police Commissioner Hendra Kurniawan during a press conference related to the arrest in Mapolresta Bandung.
“We say this so that it is not repeated, almost a year has passed,” Hendra said Monday (05/11/2020).
The four pork sellers are T (54), MP (46), AR (38) and US (39).
The perpetrators of MP and T were arrested at their residence in Kampung Lembang, Kiangroke Village, Banjaran District, Bandung Regency.
Police also confiscated 500 kilograms of pork stored in the freezer.

Not only that, in the same place the police also arrested the United States who came to buy the pig.
Meanwhile, AR was arrested at his residence in Kampail Pejagalan, Majakerta Village, Majalaya District, Bandung Regency.
Police also confiscated pork stored in a refrigerator.
“We secured about 600 kilograms. Up to 500 kilograms that were still intact, we seized them from the freezer. Then we confiscated 100 kilograms from the retailers,” Hendra said.
According to Hendra, merchants sell pork by claiming it as beef in the markets through retailers at a price of Rp 70,000-Rp 90,000 per kilogram.
