YAKARTA, KOMPAS.com – The Project Management Office (PMO) of the Pre-Employment Card Program is still not sure when registration will open for the fourth wave.

In fact, the government previously said it would open waves of Work Card registration every week.

Director of Communication for Implementation Management, Panji Winanteya Ruky, admitted that implementation management is still in the process of completing the disbursement of training funds for participants who have been selected in the first and third waves.

“We regret that we were unable to confirm (for the opening of the fourth wave). We are in the process of building an automated agreement for the use of training assistance,” Panji explained in a short message on Sunday (11/05/2020 ).

Panji further explained that the implementation management had limited IT resources if the number of participants continued to grow, while a delay occurred or completed the reconciliation and settlement process by disbursing training funds from the participant’s account or e-wallet to the Institute of Training.

“We ask for your patience. Due to the limitations of our IT resources, completion of the current order book is given priority before increasing the number of participants,” Panji said.

Earlier, Finance Minister Sri Mulyani Indrawati explained that from the beginning it was opened until today, there were 9.4 million people who registered for the Work Card program through the page prakerja.go.id.

Meanwhile, the number of participants who passed the first and second waves reached 456,265 people. The State Treasurer also ensured that all participants who passed waves I and II had received the disbursement of the incentive funds promised by the government.

“As of April 28, the total disbursed 456,265, the value of Rp 1.6 trillion,” Sri Mulyani said in a video conference on Friday (08/05/2020).

Until the end of the year, the government aims at 5.6 million participants to receive benefits from the Job Card, with a budget of Rp 20 billion.

From this budget, each participant received a total incentive of Rp 3,550,000.

As for the details, Rp. 1 million for training costs, Rp. 600,000 per person per month for post-training incentives, which will be awarded for four months or a total of Rp. 2.4 million. While the rest of Rp 150,000 is a survey incentive.
