KOMPAS.com – Before being killed by a crocodile, a woman with the initials DV (17) had the opportunity to dive and swim to the middle of the river in Sebamban Baru Village, Sungai Loban District, Tanah Bumbu Regency, Kalimantan South (Kalimantan South) , Sunday (05/10/2020).
After that, the friends of the victims who were on the riverbank no longer saw the victim appear on the surface.
“This victim jumped back into the river, after that she was no longer seen. One of the victims’ colleagues named Jumia saw the tail of the crocodile and the victim’s hand brought into the water by the crocodile,” said the head of Loban River Police, AKP Apri.

Apri explained, after seeing that, the victim’s friend immediately sought help from local residents.
Not long after, residents along with TNI-Polri members sweep the scene.
After approximately 5 hours, the victim was found dead about 50 meters from the missing initial location.
“The victim was found under the bridge, not far from where he was swimming. His body was intact,” he said.
Residents and officers took the victim to the nearest clinic for rescue efforts, but her life was unsuccessful.

As previously reported, DV and three of his friends washed clothes in the river in their town.
After washing, they briefly swim in the river.
Then, after being satisfied by swimming, they also left the river. The victim suddenly jumped into the river again to swim.
