KOMPAS.com – Paolo Maldini revealed the reason why he did not want to enter the world of training like his late father, Cesare Maldini.
Paolo’s father, Cesare, is not only successful as a player. However, he also recorded a brilliant achievement by becoming a coach.
Cesare, who died on April 3, 2016, was registered as an AC Milan coach in 1972-1974 and 2001.
While managing the team nicknamed Rossoneri, Cesare successfully presented a Champions League trophy and a Coppa Italia.

Unlike his father, who continued his coaching career after hanging up his shoes, Paolo Maldini prefers a career on the club’s board of directors.
Maldini is currently the technical director of AC Milan. He has held that position since 2018, or almost 10 years after retiring in 2009.
Maldini claimed not to be interested in becoming a coach like his father.
“I have no desire to become a coach. I have seen the life of my father (Cesare) when training,” said Maldini, according to Italian Football.
“At the end of my career, I didn’t want to pack things, then go back (to the field) and get involved in the game,” he added.

In addition to not being interested in the world of coaching, Maldini also didn’t want to move to places like his father had.
As a coach, Cesare Maldini is often on the move.
In addition to training clubs in Italy, Cesare also managed the Paraguay national team in 2001-2002.
“My father was a coach and traveled all over the world, he has been in Paraguay and throughout Italy,” said Maldini.
“That means the family must move. I just want to enjoy my life,” he said.
