Do not accept remembering the use of masks, a youth volunteer infuriates and beats volunteers

KOMPAS.com – A young man with the initials MS (22), was secured by the police after pursuing a large-scale Social Restrictions (PSBB) volunteer at the checkpoint in Rawa Bebek, Jonggol District, Bogor Regency, West Java, the Saturday (09/05/2020).

“Yes (already secured), the young biker starts MS, from Jonggol, who is 22 years old because he did not receive a reprimand from officers,” Jonggol Chief Police Commissioner Agus said Saturday.

Agus said the incident began when PSBB officials attempted to stop the young man when he was riding a motorcycle because he was not wearing a mask.

However, when the officer rebuked, the young man did not obey, actually rebelled and wanted to attack the members who were on guard.

“When he was intercepted, he (MS) took the gas off his motorcycle, wanted to run away but was frustrated by the agents. He finally got upset and then got off the bike and immediately attacked, but was successfully intercepted,” Agus said.

As he ignored the officers’ direction to wear masks, they were finally asked to turn around.

But an hour later, the young man returned to the post and argued that he wanted to apologize to the officers, especially the head of the Youth Organization with the initials AIS who volunteered at the post.

After the two spoke, MS suddenly hit AIS to injure her face.

“The one who was hit by the youth leader turned out to be a PSBB volunteer. There were bruises and tears in this volunteer’s right eye,” he said.

Knowing the fight, the young man finally made sure and his members were taken to Mapolsek to take responsibility for their actions.

Currently, the young man is being held in Jonggol Mapolsek’s cell and threatened with article 351 of the Penal Code on persecution with a maximum sentence of five years in prison.
