Harianjogja.com, SLEMAN – The total number of Indogrosir employees who tested positive for Covid-19 was four. Three of them are Bantul residents and an employee is the first case, Covid-19 patient number 79, as revealed by the Covid-19 DIY Handling Task Force in the Indogrosir group.
Sleman District Health Office Chief Joko Hastaryo said that if four of the employees reported positive, three of them were Bantul residents and one was the first case of the first Covid-19 case in the group of Indogrosir.
“In total there are four employees, three of whom are Bantul residents who have tested positive for Covid-19. The shares for them are three employees who have been treated at a hospital in Bantul. Two of them have been treated at the hospital specialized Covid-19 in Bambanglipuro and one in PKU Muhammadiyah Bantul, “said Joko on Sunday (05/10/2020).
Additionally, Joko and her department continue to coordinate with various districts whose citizens are Indogrosir employees located in Jl. Magelang, Hamlet Kutu Patran, Sinduadi, Mlati, Sleman, related to Indogrosir employee search efforts. One of them is the Bantul Regency government.
“We also continue communicating with Bantul Regency. If it is related to tracking coworkers, we will handle it, but if the employee has a history of contact with family or neighbors, the tracking will be done by friends in the Bantul district,” he explained. .
Meanwhile, from the rapid tests that have been conducted since Friday (09/05/2020), a total of 60 employees were reactive while undergoing a rapid test of 344 employees. Joko added, in order to say someone is negative or positive, Covid-19 must be tested twice.
“Unless the case of a Bantul employee is positive when a rapid test is performed. That is Covid-19 positive. If the first test is negative, it should be retested two days later,” he said.
Instead of opening Indogrosir, which is often used as a wholesale grocery merchant and is now a new Covid-19 distribution group, the Sleman regency government takes another effort. The closure effort was made taking into account the positive findings of Covid-19 cases in the field.
“The closure has been carried out by the Covid-19 management working group which has been through Indogrosir management discussion efforts. With the discovery of positive cases from four employees, the working group will extend the closure period of Indogrosir in 14 days. The closure started from Tuesday (5/5/2020) then, so there are still nine more days to close Indogrosir, “Joko explained.
Still closed
Meanwhile, Indogrosir, which is located near Jombor shopping malls and terminals until Sunday (05/10/2020) is still closed. There are no people coming and going buying with a shopping cart in front of them.
There were one or two security officers on guard in front of Indogrosir, which is now a large group of the Covid-19 spread. One or two small goods vehicles are still parked in front of Indogrosir.
Indog Wholesale’s entrance is also securely locked. Just in front of Indogrosir there is also a closing announcement posted by Indogrosir management via an elongated banner.
Motorists also occasionally glance in the direction of Indogrosir just to see the situation. A driver who passed Indogrosir, Siti, 49, said that if he only checked whether Indogrosir, which is the hub of Covid-19’s distribution, had opened its services.
“But when there have been positive cases, I also think twice before spending. Let’s hope that the positive cases of Covid-19 do not increase from this new group. Let’s hope that the administration and the Regency Sleman Government can work together to break the Covid-19 distribution chain, “he explained.
