Jakarta, CNN Indonesia – Valentino Rossi do not enter victory over Marc Márquez as the most impressive result in 20 years of career in MotoGP.

Instead of asking for the victory over Marquez, Rossi considered the success of beating Max Biaggi, Casey Stoner and Jorge Lorenzo as a beautiful victory.

“I think there are three of the best wins of my career,” said Rossi.

“All three races are at Welkom [Afrika Selatan] 2004, when I won my first victory with Yamaha, Laguna 2008 when I competed with Stoner, and the 2009 Barcelona duel in the last corner against Lorenzo. “Those are my three best races,” he continued.

In addition to not including the victory against Marquez in the list of his best success, Rossi did not include the name of the MotoGP ruler for the last seven years in the list of the best competitors.

“I have extraordinary duels against Max Biaggi, Sete Gibernau and finally against Jorge Lorenzo. When you have that kind of rivalry, there is additional enthusiasm to raise the bar,” Rossi explained.

“When the competition starts, and then it leads a little bit to personal problems. That means you can become the spirit to appear first and the level also increases,” he added, quoting from Autosport.
