PURWOKERTO, KOMPAS.com – Banyumas Regent, Central Java, Achmad Hussein said the call to worship at home aims to address the wider spread of the Corona virus (Covid-19).
“The case is already in the village of Kober, a place of worship, which was forced into a place of worship. It turned out that there was one who was exposed to a Gowa Cluster virus,” Husein said by voicemail, the Friday (05/01/2020).
Hussein explained that the spread of Covid-19 in the mosque came from one of the residents who prayed in congregation. The person is known to have followed the ijtima of scholars in Gowa and was later declared to be Covid-19 positive.

For this reason, Hussein asked the public to respond wisely to the call to worship at home.
