YAKARTA, KOMPAS.com – The spokesperson for the Coordinating Minister for Maritime Affairs and Investments, Jodi Mahardi, said that her party had continued on the subject of hate speech by former BUMN Ministry Secretary Muhammad Said Didu to the legal route.

Jodi also revealed that the Police Criminal Investigation Unit had summoned Said Didu as reported.

“He was served with a subpoena from the Criminal Investigation Unit (Said Didu) this afternoon,” he told Kompas.com on Thursday (04/30/2020).

He also said there were four lawyers who would process or represent the demands of the Coordinating Minister for Maritime Affairs and Investments, Luhut Binsar Pandjaitan, as the reporter on the case.

Luhut’s four attorneys included Nelson Darwis, Malik Bawazier, Patra M Zen and Riska Elita.

For information, the origin of this lawsuit is on Muhammad Said Didu’s YouTube channel. At that time, Said Didu was interviewed by Hersubeno Arief and uploaded the 22-minute video interview.

In the video, Said Didu highlighted the issue of preparing for the transfer of a new national capital that is still ongoing amid efforts by the government and all parties facing the Covid-19 outbreak.
