JAKARTA, KOMPAS.TV – President Joko Widodo reiterated that public health remains number one. This is the priority of government policy in handling the Covid-19 pandemic.

However, this priority does not mean sacrificing the economy. Because, if managing Covid-19 sacrifices the economy, it is the same as the lives of tens of millions of people.

“The government’s strategy from the beginning was to find a balance point,” President Jokowi said in a video received by Kompas TV on Saturday (3/10/2020).
