DIY NEWS – The Ministry of Education and Culture (Kemdikbud) provides subsidized assistance for a free internet quota of up to 50 GB which is still obtainable until October 2020.

This free internet fee subsidy help is specifically for students and educators, that is, students, professors, college students, and professors.

This free fee will be sent by SMS or short message from the operator. The free fee is divided into two, namely the study fee and the general fee.

The study fee can be used to access various apps and websites such as Google Classroom, Google Meet, Guru Room, Zenius, Edmodo, U Meet Me, Bahaso, Rumah Belajar, Cakap, Dualingo, Zoom, Microsoft Terms, and WhatApp.



Meanwhile, the general quota can be used to access anything like Instagram, Youtube, Twitter, Tiktok, and other apps and websites.

The amount of free assistance with internet fees is not the same for all levels of education. Below are the details of the free Internet fee subsidy help from the Ministry of Education and Culture.

PAUD students will get a 20 GB quota per month with details of the general quota of 5 GB and the study quota of 15 GB.
