jpnn.com, JAKARTA – Police have repatriated five suspects in a mob case in Petamburan in central Jakarta.
The five were Islamic Defenders Army (LPI) commander Maman Suryadi, FPI President General Ahmad Shabri Lubis, Haris Ubaidillah as committee chair, Ali bin Alwi Alatas as committee secretary and Habib Idrus as the event section.
Polda Metro Jaya’s head of Public Relations, Kombes Yusri Yunus, said that all five are required to report to the Metro Jaya Police Headquarters twice a week.
“That is why we are obliged to appear twice a week, Monday and Thursday, with an arrest warrant each time we attend,” Yusri said when confirmed, on Tuesday (12/15).
“It is possible that if we are forced to report, we will add some more to the BAP, we will carry out another investigation in question. Including the three of yesterday, we also returned home,” Yusri continued.
The reason for the repatriation was because the five suspects were suspects of article 93 of Law Number 6 of 2018 on Sanitary Quarantine, which carries a penalty of one year in prison.
“Because Article 93 of Law Number 6 on Sanitary Quarantine is suspected when the threat is one year, we are obliged to report twice a week,” Yusri said. (mcr1 / jpnn)
