Indonesian President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) appointed the new Indonesian Advanced Cabinet minister on Wednesday (12/23).
Jokowi introduced six new ministers on the terrace of the Merdeka Palace in central Jakarta on Tuesday (12/22). Apart from the six ministers, the inauguration of the ministers will also be followed by the inauguration of the head of the institution and the vice minister.
At today’s ministerial inauguration, those who will take office are Tri Rismaharini (Risma) as Minister of Social Affairs, Sandiaga Uno as Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy and Budi Gunadi Sadikin as Minister of Health. Then there is Yaqut Cholil Qoumas as Minister of Religion, Muhammad Luthfi as Minister of Commerce and Sakti Wahyu Trenggono as Minister of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries.
Several heads of institutions and vice ministers to be appointed are Inspector General Pol Petrus ReeinhardGolose, who will replace Komjen Pol Heru Winarko as Head of the National Narcotics Agency (BNN) and Lieutenant General M Herindra as Vice Minister of Defense replacing Sakti Wahyu Trenggono, who becomes Minister of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries.
In this inauguration ceremony, the male ministers wear a black coat and a white shirt. They complete it with a red tie. It could be that this is used as a red and white symbol. They also wear caps as headdresses.
Meanwhile, the only new minister in this cabinet, Tri Rismaharini (Risma) wore a long red kebaya. This all-red outfit is more complete with the addition of a red batik fabric with a fine blue motif and a red headscarf.
All ministers sworn in today are also wearing black masks and face shields in the interest of health protocol.
Meanwhile, Jokowi himself wore a gray coat with a white shirt and red tie.
This inauguration dress code is certainly different from the minister’s blue jacket dress code that was worn during the reorganization announcement yesterday.
On the occasion of the announcement of the reorganization yesterday, the six new ministers were compacted wearing white shirts wrapped in blue jackets. The suit is combined with black pants.
Meanwhile, Jokowi only wears a white shirt and black pants.
Not forgetting that the six new ministers also complemented their appearance with masks and face shields as a form of adherence to health protocols.
The appearance of the minister this time is somewhat different from the previous ones. Usually the ranks of ministers in the Indonesian Advanced Cabinet often wear plain white shirts on many occasions.
There is no particular reason for choosing the color of the jacket. The color blue is considered attractive to the eye.
