KOMPAS.com- Despite having worked in the National Police for 27 years, Blitar Police Chief of Sabhara Police, AKP Agus Hendro Tri Susetyo, is determined to resign.
The strong reason for his resignation was that he could not bear the attitude of his superior, Blitar Police Chief, AKBP Ahmad Fanani.
Agus not only resigned but also reported Blitar’s Chief of Police to the East Java Regional Police on suspicion of abandoning cockfighting, gambling and mining in Blitar.
The case of the dispute between the two officers in Blitar is now handled by the East Java Regional Police.
The Professional and Security Division of the East Java Regional Police (Propam) and the Inspector of the East Java Regional Police (Irwasda) are working to seek clarification of the case.

1. Accusing each other about performance
The rationale behind Agus’ resignation from the police was that he could not accept the deal from Blitar AKBP Fanani’s police chief, who was called arbitrary.
He admitted that Ahmad Fanani often cursed him with animal names and other inappropriate comments.
“Not just for me, but for all his subordinates,” Agus said.
He also considered that the police chief was arbitrary in often withdrawing his men without providing guidance.
“I no longer have the strength to be subordinate to the Chief of Police and I propose to withdraw early,” he said.
In response to this, Ahmad Fanani said that he initially gave a warning when he saw Agus’s men with long hair.
“I had to reprimand him for having his men with long hair, then he did not accept it and called me arrogant,” she said.
Ahmad Fanani also accused his men of not joining the service since September 21, 2020.

2. Shock over mining
Agus denounced his superiors on suspicion of abandoning illegal sand mining and cockfighting.
According to Agus, despite receiving reports of illegal sand mining activities and gambling in cockfighting, the police chief appeared to ignore the problem.
“Free sand mining, free cockfighting, no warning. Sand mining in Kali Putih and Gandungsari,” Agus said, quoted by Antara. Tribune Bali.
In response to this, Ahmad Fanani denied that he had done nothing.
Fanani believed that the mine Agus was referring to was owned by local residents, so she did not want to take action against it.
This contradicts Agus’s wishes.
“Yes, Pak Kasat Sabhara wanted to mine, but the neighbors did not approve, that’s why it was like that (he asked for action). The community did the activity for his food, not for business. His son (Kasat Sabhara) who wanted to mine was not accepted either “, said quoted by Antara. Between.

Agus is also willing not to demand anything from the Police.
Visiting the East Java Regional Police Headquarters on Thursday (10/1/2020), Agus admitted that he had submitted his letter of resignation.
“I am ready to resign from the National Police. I will deliver this letter to the Chief of the East Java Regional Police as well as the Chief of the National Police,” he said.

Because there are a number of mechanisms that must be met.
This mechanism is regulated in the Regulation of the National Police of the Republic of Indonesia Number 1 of 2019 on the termination of service administration for public officials of the Indonesian National Police.
The head of the Public Information Office of the Public Relations Division of the National Police, Brigadier General (Pol) Awi Setiyono, said that, on the one hand, the resignation must have the approval of his superiors.
“If the Sabhara Police Chief of the Blitar Police, of course, the Kasatker (is) the Police Chief. Then there must be an administration accompanying him,” he said.
“The incident happened yesterday, so he needs a process. So he just wrote to the regional police, of course it will be discussed later,” Awi continued.
