The police carried out an autopsy or preliminary examination of the bodies of 4 family members in Rembang who were found dead in their home. From the autopsy results, the police said that all four victims died in their sleep.

The body of the artist mastermind owner of the Ongko Joyo Rembang art hermitage, Ki Anom Subekti, who was found dead along with his wife, son and grandson, has been subjected to an autopsy.

Based on the results of the provisional autopsy, the four victims were declared dead due to forceful blows. The victims are suspected of being abused in their sleep without resisting the perpetrators.

“It seems that the victim was subjected to a blunt force, in a state of rest, so I don’t know. Because (the test results) there are no signs of resistance,” said Karumkit Bhayangkara Polda Central Java, Kombes Sumy Hastry Purwanti, to journalists, Thursday (2/4/2021).

Sumy explained that the four victims had already been investigated. The injuries sustained by 4 people in the family were to the front and top of the head.

“We have examined 4 bodies completely. Of all the bodies we found, all due to a blunt force to the head,” he explained.

Not only that, there was more than one scar on the head of all the victims. This means that the assailant mistreated the victims by repeatedly hitting them on the head.

“The front and the top. Yes, (beaten) repeatedly, more than two (wounds),” he continued.

It is estimated that the perpetrators took action on Thursday (4/2) morning. This is estimated from the state of the bodies of the victims who are believed to have died between 10 and 14 hours, as of the autopsy carried out on Thursday (2/4) at 1:00 p.m. WIB.

“Approximately from 10 to 14 hours, from the previous inspection at 1 (noon)”, he concluded.
