KOMPAS.com – Warganet was moved by the circulation of nude photos of two climbers in Suryakancana plaza in Mount Gede Pangrango National Park (TNGGP), West Java.
The organizers have also reported the incident to the police. Additionally, TNGGP Head of Headquarters Wahju Rudianto asked the two climbers to openly apologize.

1. Breaking the rules
Wahju explained that the plaza area is considered sacred to the community around TNGGP.
The action of the two climbers was also not in accordance with the climbing regulations at Mount Gede.
“In the climbing SOP, climbers are prohibited from committing acts that violate decency, disruptive acts, unpleasant acts, immoral acts or other similar acts,” Wahju was quoted as saying from the written statement on Thursday (10/22/2020) .

2. Sacred places
Also, according to Wahju, the Suryakencana square area is considered sacred to the people of West Java, especially Cianjur.
“The place is considered sacred to the people of West Java, especially Cianjur,” he said.
Meanwhile, management confirmed that they had reported the incident to the police.
“Today we have coordinated and consulted with the Cianjur Reskim Police. In addition, it is being investigated further,” TNGGP Evaluation and Public Relations Data Officer Poppy Octadiyani told Kompas.com via WhatsApp message on Thursday (10/22/2020).

3. Apologize
Action photos of the two climbers went viral on social media. That worries Wahju.
Wahju also asked the climbers to apologize for their actions.
Wahju Rudianto also apologized to the two people in the photo. Also, the indecent photo was uploaded to the timeline and is now viral.
“We recommend that you publicly apologize to the West Javanese people on the social media in question,” Wahju said as quoted in a written statement received by Kompas.com on Thursday (10/22/2020).

4. Viral on social media
From a search on Kompas.com, these photos had become the center of attention of netizens.
Various comments were made to the two climbers on various lines of social media.
However, on Instagram and Twitter, several accounts that had uploaded the photo decided to remove or delete it.
