KOMPAS.com – Up to three members of the Armed Criminal Group (KKB) in Intan Jaya were reportedly shot dead by members of the Indonesian National Army at Sugapa Health Center, Intan Jaya Regency, Papua on Monday (2/15/2021 ).
The incident occurred when TNI swept the perpetrators of the shooting that killed Prada Ginanjar Arianda.
Then, when TNI examined a man named Janius Bagau, he escaped by jumping off a cliff.

1. Jump into the abyss
Following the attack on the security forces that killed Prada Ginanjar Arianda, the TNI immediately intensified the persecution of those responsible.
Upon arriving at the Sugapa Health Center, members of TNI examined Janius. However, Janius suddenly ran away.
Before disappearing, the authorities shot Janius in the arm.
“During the investigation, the person (who was later identified as Janius Bagau) suddenly fled by jumping off a cliff. The team had to shoot him after warning shots and calls to return were not heeded,” said the chief information officer. of Kogabwilhan III. 2. Challenge the TNI war
After that, TNI received information that Janius was a member of the KKB who had signed the war challenge with TNI.
Apart from that, TNI also located Janius, who was wounded and taken to the puskesmas because he was shot.
“After verifying and comparing it with the KTP obtained during the examination, it was confirmed that this person was Janius Bagau, a member of the KKB who often carried out acts of terror in Sugapa and was one of the signatories of a declaration of war to the National Police from Indonesia some time ago, “he said.

3. Two of Janius’s companions arrive
Upon receiving the information, TNI immediately pursued the puskesmas in question.
According to Suriastawa, after that, Janius’s two colleagues came to the puskesmas.
The two partners are known to be Januarius Sani and Justinus Bagau.
TNI confirmed that all three were members of the KKB.
4. Seizure of weapons from the security forces
At that point, the three KKB members tried to flee and seized the weapons of the TNI officers guarding the Sugapa Puskesmas.
However, the TNI apparatus managed to paralyze the three members of the KKB.

“The three tried to flee, attacked and tried to seize weapons from the joint TNI-Polri apparatus guarding the Puskesmas. The officers quickly paralyzed the three people to death,” he said.
