This zoning is developed based on three indicators, namely, epidemiology, public health surveillance, and health services.
Of the three indicators, the government determines the zoning for red (high risk), orange (medium risk), yellow (low risk), and green (no cases).
A complete list of zoning for each region can be viewed on the Covid19.go.id website.
Wiku also called on local governments in the red zone to continue their efforts to suppress the spread of Covid-19 by intensifying testing, monitoring, and patient care.
On the other hand, he also asked the public to continue to comply with the Covid-19 health protocol, that is, wear masks, keep your distance and wash your hands.
“Let’s fight together to break the chain of spreading this virus and let’s not blame each other. Let’s work together to protect our neighbors so that we can be truly free from Covid-19,” Wiku said.
