JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com – The Covid-19 Management Working Group revealed that 34 districts and cities have changed from a high-risk zone (red) to a medium-risk zone (yellow) for corona virus transmission in the last week.
According to Wiku Adisasmito, spokesperson for the Covid-19 Management Working Group at a press conference from the Presidential Palace, Jakarta, on Tuesday (9/15/2020), this zoning was prepared based on three indicators, namely, epidemiology, public health surveillance and health services.
Of the three indicators, the government determines the zoning for red (high risk), orange (medium risk), yellow (low risk), and green (no cases).

Wiku said that his party really appreciates the efforts of these 34 districts / cities that have been able to better reduce the risk of Covid-19 transmission.
He expects the government in 34 regions to continue to function optimally.
“Even though the zone is still the orange zone, it should move back to the yellow and green zone,” he said.
