The 2020 MotoGP classification changed after the Montmeló race. Petronas Yamaha SRT rider Fabio Quartararo returned to the top after MotoGP de Catalunya.
At the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya, Montmeló, on Sunday (9/27/2020), on the WIB night, Quartararo took the lead after finishing the race with a time of 40 minutes 33,176 seconds.
With an additional 25 points this time, Quartararo is now in the first position with a record 108 points. He benefited from the fall of Andrea Dovizioso right after the start.
In second place in the MotoGP standings with a record of 100 points, Joan Mir. The Suzuki rider finished second in the Montmeló race.
The Yamaha rider, Maverick Vinales, finished in ninth position in the eighth series of MotoGP 2020. Therefore, the rider from Spain finished third in the MotoGP classification with 90 points.
Dovizioso, who was unable to finish, was fourth. Raihan points remain at 84 points.
Rounding out the top five is Franco Morbidelli, with a record 77 points. Valentino Rossi, who crashed, was knocked out of the top 10. The Doctor is 11th with 58 points.
Repsol Honda rider Alex Márquez finished in 16th place with 27 points. Takaaki Nakagami is the only Honda rider in the top 10 of the 2020 MotoGP rankings. The Japanese rider accumulated 72 points.
