The total number of workers receiving a subsidized salary of Rs 600 lakhs per month in total is only 12.4 million. This number is far from the goal of 15.7 million people.

BPJS Ketenagakerjaan Managing Director Agus Sutanto said early on that his party only received 14.8 million beneficiary accounts that needed to be validated before being handed over to the Ministry of Manpower (Kemnaker) for disbursement.

After being validated, there were only 12.4 million worker accounts that were validated, or to be precise 12,418,588 accounts. He said there were 2.4 million accounts that could not be forwarded to the Ministry of Manpower because they failed validation.

“There are 14.8 million accounts that have entered us since we were given a mandate with a goal of 15.7 million. Of these accounts we have multiple validations, from the bank, to adjusting the criteria for the recipients. Of that number There are only 12.4 million valid accounts, which means that 2.4 million were invalid, “Agus explained in a virtual press conference on Thursday (01/10/2020).

Agus explained, of the 2.4 million accounts that did not pass validation, 1.8 million of them did not meet the criteria for recipients of wage subsidy assistance.

“Of the 2.4 million, 75% did not meet the Permenaker criteria. For example, the salary was above 5 million rupees, then the membership was only registered after June, the total was 1, 8 million, “Agus said.

Meanwhile, another 600,000 accounts were accounts returned by BP Jamsostek to the company for data correction. However, BP Jamsostek did not receive the repair until September 30, which is the deadline for collecting accounts.

“The remaining 25%, up to 600 thousand accounts, were invalid because they were not reconfirmed. So when we returned to the company for repairs, until yesterday we had not received any correction,” said Agus.

Meanwhile, the data from the Ministry of Manpower so far, of the 12.4 million accounts received from BPJS Ketenagakerjaan, have been distributed to 11.6 million beneficiaries or, to be precise, 11,654,143 people or around 92.48%.

The quantity was distributed in 4 lots. Meanwhile, batch five or the last batch in wage subsidy assistance delivery phase I, just received data on September 29-30 yesterday. Currently the Ministry of Manpower is validating the data, a maximum of 4 business days.

The subsidized assistance itself is granted to workers whose wages are below IDR 5 million. These workers must be registered as BPJS Ketenagakerjaan participants.

The amount of assistance provided is 600 thousand rupees per month, for 4 months. This assistance is distributed once every two months, with a disbursement of Rs 1.2 million.
