Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia – The final text of the Omnibus Law for the Creation of Work (Ciptaker) still raises questions. Of course, since it was approved on Monday (10/5/2020), the script has continued to change.

Initially, many reports circulated that the text of the Ciptaker Act was not yet final, so it had not been presented to President Joko Widodo (Jokowi).

Seen from the beginning of the discussion of the Ciptaker Omnibus Law, which is called Draft Law (RUU), the number of pages of the manuscript was recorded in 1,028 sheets uploaded on the website of the Coordinating Ministry of Economic Affairs.

Then, from the bill turned into law, the circulating manuscript page changed to 905 pages. The manuscript with this number of pages is circulating as the final draft of the Ciptaker Bill to be read in the Plenary Session.

However, after a few days, specifically on Monday (12/10/2020), the manuscript that was considered final went back to 1,035 pages. The latest manuscript was directly confirmed by the Secretary General (Secretary General) of DPR RI.

“Yes, that was the last thing that was spoken was letter 1,035 [halaman]. That was the last thing that was discussed until yesterday, “Indonesian Parliament Secretary General Indra Iskandar told reporters via text message on Monday (12/10/2020).

This 1,035-thick manuscript is different from the first, namely the Job Creation Bill in June 2020 and the last discussion in September 2020.

A day later, it turned out that the 1,035-page-thick manuscript was not the final manuscript. This is due to the fact that the text of the Law reappears with a total of 812 pages. This is also recognized as a final text that will soon be presented to President Jokowi.

This was again justified by the general secretary of the People’s Representative Council (RPD), Indra Iskandar. Indra explained that there was a change from A4 size to legal size. “Yes, 812 pages. Use the legal format, so it is 812 pages,” said Indra.

Until now, this draft remains the final draft of the Ciptaker Act.

Suddenly, netizens asked confusion. On his Twitter account, for example, Rayo said that discussing the law was like reviewing a thesis. “It’s really fun. Like a supervisor thesis review,” Rayo said.

Like Lightning, Tyo expressed confusion. “This UUCK is proof of our nation’s lack of literacy. If legislators fail to make rules, what is wrong are those who get confused trying to understand them. Because the important thing is not to understand the rules, but to obey those who they do “.
