101 visitors to the South Korean nightclub Kena Corona, thousands of tests

Jakarta, CNN Indonesia – There are at least 101 cases corona virus new in South Korea which is associated with a night club.

Seoul Mayor Park Won-soon declared a nightclub in the area Itaewon, an area synonymous with the Seoul entertainment industry, as a new Covid-19 broadcast group.

Park said there were 7,272 people in Seoul who had been evaluated in relation to the nightclub.



“More than 36 percent of cases have no symptoms and the rate of spread is very high,” Park said, he cited. CNN.

The appearance of these new cases raises concerns about the second wave of corona infections.

A man is suspected of transmitting the corona virus to visitors to nightclubs after imposing a reduction in social restrictions. Before testing positive for Covid-19, the man had visited three nightclubs in the Itaewon area.

According to records from the telephone signal tower and credit card usage data, it was estimated that more than 11,000 people were near clubs in Itaewon last week.

The government sends text messages to all identified numbers and asks these people to test and quarantine.

Seoul is currently ordering the closure of bars, clubs and other entertainment venues.

South Korea was previously named as one of the countries that handled the coronavirus well, but the World Health Organization (WHO) said that the countries that lifted the restrictions began to experience new cases again.
