Makassar –
The police are carrying out a previous reconstruction of a case of alleged rotating rape of a female student in the city of Makassar, South Sulawesi (Sulsel). One of the things that was explored in this pre-reconstruction was revealing the roles of the 7 people who had been insured.
“Everyone has their respective roles, if we await the status of the case title,” Panakkukang Iptu Police Criminal Investigation Unit Chief Iqbal Usman said on Monday (9/21/2020) at the location prior to reconstruction.
The previous reconstruction took place in a hotel in the Panakkukang area, Makassar. There was a woman with the initials SN (21) who presented in the pre-reconstruction of this case.
SN is said to be a partner of the victim. Furthermore, the 6 people who were detained by the police regarding this case were UF (21), NA (20) IS (23), AF (22), MF (26) and IB 25.
However, the police have yet to reveal the role of the seven men in this case.
“They were all at the crime scene at the time of the incident along with the victim, so we will examine their respective statements,” he added.
In addition to presenting victims and alleged perpetrators during the pre-reconstruction. Police also implicated the hotel where the incident occurred. The police also had time to check the hotel’s CCTV.
“They all got together, 7 people (alleged perpetrators) plus the victim became 8 people. The information was from THM under the influence of alcohol,” he added.
As previously reported, victim EA and a male colleague arrived at a THM in Makassar on Saturday (9/19). At THM, EA and her male partner met SN women and six other men.
Then around 01.00 WITA on Sunday (9/20) EA, who was already drunk, was sent home by his male colleague. However, SN stopped him and asked the victim’s male partner to go home and SN promised to take EA to the hotel for the night because he was drunk.
After EA’s male colleagues arrived home, SN drove the victim to the hotel followed by six of her male colleagues. Unfortunately, EA took turns with several SN colleagues in the hotel room.
When he woke up, EA was shocked that there was a man in front of him. Furthermore, the man in question fled immediately. EA also had time to see other men who were originally in the room on the run.
Realizing that he had become an immoral victim, EA then reported the incident to the Panakkukang police. In addition, the police arrested SN women and six male colleagues on Sunday night (9/20).
