Two staff members of the Minister of Marine Affairs and Fisheries (KKP) Edhy Prabowo have been named suspects in connection with the alleged bribery for the export of lobster or fingerlings. One of them is on the run.
The two members of Edhy Prabowo’s staff are Safri and Andreau Pribadi Misanta. Safri was arrested with Edhy Prabowo’s entourage at Soekarno-Hatta airport on Tuesday (11/25) morning. In addition to being a special staff member of Edhy Prabowo, Safri is also the deputy executive director of the due diligence team. One of the functions of this team is to verify the integrity of the administrative documents submitted by potential fingerling exporters.
In this case, Safri and Amiril Mukminin gave money to Edhy Prabowo in May 2020 in the amount of USD 100,000. The money went to Suharjito as director of the DPP.
“At the beginning of October 2020, Suharjito as Director of the DPP came to the KKP office on the 16th floor and met with Safri. During the meeting it was found that to export lobster seeds, only promoter PT ACK with a transportation fee of Rs 1,800 per head, which is an agreement between Amiril and Andreau Pribadi Misanta and Siswadi, as the direction of PT ACK, “said KPK Vice President Nawawi Pomolango at a press conference from the building from KPK, Kuningan, South Jakarta, Wednesday (11/25/2020) midnight.
From lobster seed export activities, PT DPP allegedly transferred money to PT ACK’s account in the amount of Rp 731 million. PT DPP then received instructions from Edhy Prabowo through the Due Diligence Team to determine lobster seed export activities, which have been carried out 10 times using PT ACK.
“The money that entered PT ACK’s account, which was thought to have come from various lobster seed exporters, was subsequently withdrawn and entered into the accounts of Amri and Ahmad Bahtiar with a total of Rp 9.8 billion” Nawawi said.
Then on November 5, Ahmad Bahtiar was transferred to Edhy Prabowo’s wife’s staff account in the amount of Rs 3.4 billion for the needs of Edhy Prabowo, Iis Rosyati, Safri and Andreau Pribadi Misanta.
“In addition, around May 2020, Edhy Prabowo allegedly also received a sum of USD 100,000 from Suharjito through Safri and Amiril Mukminin,” Nawawi explained.
