New York:
Hours after Pakistan’s Prime Minister Imran Khan raised the Kashmir issue in the 3rd UN General Assembly (UNGA) on Friday, India immediately responded to Imran Khan’s remarks and requested the United Nations for a right to reply in response to Pakistan’s statements.
The pre-recorded statement of Imran Khan was released when Indian representative Majito Vinito, who had earlier walked out of the hall, presented India’s stance.
In a stern reply, India said, “The Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir is an integral and unorganized part of India. The rules and regulations introduced in the Union Territories of Jammu and Kashmir are the rigidity of India’s internal affairs.”
Earlier, Imran Khan had said in a statement that “Pakistan has always called for a peaceful settlement. For this, India will have to rescind the steps taken from August 5, 2019 onwards.”

Reacting to the Prime Minister of Pakistan, India asserted that “the only dispute in Kashmir relates to that part of Kashmir which is still under illegal occupation of Pakistan. We call on Pakistan to vacate all those areas which are under illegal occupation.”
Imran Khan’s virtual address had similar claims and allegations against India that he has raised to multilateral organizations in recent speeches.
After his speech, U.N. Permanent Representative of India, T.S. Tirumurthy tweeted that the country would use the “Right to Reply” feature to respond to Imran Khan’s address.
“There was nothing in this hall for anyone to show themselves, who had no achievement to speak, and heard no reasonable suggestion to present to the world. Instead, we saw lies, misinformation, ambiguity and wickedness spreading. First Secretary Mijito Vinito said that today the words used by the leader of Pakistan (Imran Khan) in this great meeting are addressed by the leader (Imran Khan).
India exercised its right of reply after all the speeches of the country in the high-level discussion of the 75th session of the UNGA on Friday. This is especially so when countries begin to exercise their right to respond to statements made by any other country against them.
The anti-India statement made by the Prime Minister of Pakistan on Friday and India’s response make it India’s third right to reply, following the provocative response to the issue of Jammu and Kashmir during the UN 75th UNGA earlier this week.
Mr Vinito said Imran Khan was “the same person who called the terrorist Osama bin Laden a ‘martyr’ in parliament in July.
He further said, “For a nation deeply buried in medieval times, it is understandable that the principles of modern civilized society such as peace, dialogue and diplomacy are far ahead.”
“This is the country that brought genocide to South Asia years ago when it killed its own people. This is also the country that cannot be sincerely sorry for the horrors that have happened so many years later. This is the same country. That gives pensions to terrorists and listed terrorists from state funds. This is the same country that has the dubious difference of hosting most of the terrorists targeted by the United Nations, “he added.
Referring to the Prime Minister of Pakistan, he said, “The same leader who poisoned the United States today. In 2019, he publicly admitted that his country still had about 30,000-40,000 terrorists who had been trained by Pakistan and had fought in Afghanistan and the Indian Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir. This is a country that has practically purified minorities, including Hindus, Christians, Sikhs and others, through the misuse of its Indan law and religious conversions. “
“Anyone who claims to be a champion of Islam is also a country that has encouraged the killing of fellow Muslims simply because they belonged to a different sect, or belonged to a different region of Pakistan, and sponsored terrorist attacks,” he said. Its neighbors, ”he added.
The First Secretary said, “What should be on the UN agenda is Pakistan’s deep-seated state and its relentless political and financial support to terrorist organizations and mercenaries who pose a threat to global peace and security. The country’s only fresh pride is to show the world Terrorism, ethnic cleansing, fundamentalist fundamentalism and the secret nuclear trade. “
“The only way for Pakistan to become a normal country is to reject moral, financial and material support for terrorism, focus on the problems posed by its own population, including its minorities, and stop abusing the UN platform to further its negative agenda.” Statement Conclusion.
