Swashbuckling hitter Shikhar Dhawan led the way to wish his Indian teammate Yuzvendra Chahal after marrying Dhanashree Verma. Chahal tied the knot on Tuesday and took to social media to share photos. The Leg Spinner was recently in Australia for limited series. It started after the T20I series and is not part of the ongoing four-game test series. On Instagram, Dhawan shared a photo of him posing with Chahal and his wife. He captioned it as, “Congratulations @ yuzi_chahal23 and @ dhanashree9, I wish you a happy married life together!”
Even former cricketer Wasim Jaffer took to Twitter to extend his wishes. He wrote: “No matter how many matches you go to, she will be the match you always come back to. Congratulations @yuzi_chahal and Dhanashree.”

The BCCI also wished the India leg-spinner on Twitter. “Congratulations @yuzi_chahal and Dhanashree. I wish you both a life of happiness,” wrote the BCCI, while responding in the post of Chahal’s wedding.

Chahal was part of the ODI and T20I teams for India against Australia. The visitors lost the ODI series, but came back strong to win the T20I series.

Chahal came in as a concussion substitute for Ravindra Jadeja in the first S20I and cast a brilliant spell, helping India defend the total. He was awarded Man of the Match.
The Indian team is currently in Australia for a four-game test series. The second test match will begin on December 26 at the iconic Melbourne Cricket Ground.
