England fast bowler Jofra Archer said he lost his 2019 World Cup medal after he changed his floor recently. Archer, who played a key role in England’s historic win, added that he has “gone crazy” looking for him in his new place.

Jofra Archer revealed that she had the 2019 World Cup medal hanging from a portrait and was unable to see the medal there after moving to her new place. The England fast pitcher also said he had been searching for the medal for the past week, but had not yet succeeded.

“I hung it from a portrait that someone did for me and sent it to me, I had my medal hanging on it. I moved and the image is on the new wall, but there is no medal,” Jofra Archer told the BBC.

“I walked around the house for about a week, but still haven’t found it.

“I know I should be in the house, so I’ll keep an eye out, but I’ve already lost my mind looking for him.”

I never planned the Super Over in the final: Archer

Jofra Archer shined for England in her first World Cup appearance at Old Blighty last year. Archer intimidated opposition hitters with his pace and aggression, and finished as the third-most wicket player in the tournament with 20 wickets.

Jofra Archer was also assigned responsibility for playing the historic Super Over in the World Cup final against New Zealand. Archer was nervous when it took 2 runs for the last ball, as the scores were tied at the end of the Super Over, after which England was declared the winner based on the limit count.

Archer said he never thought about participating in a Super Over in a World Cup final, but that he was ready to do his best once he had a chance.

“It was the only super final of the entire tournament, I never thought about it or planned for the situation, it just happened.”
