Indian vice captain Rohit Sharma on Tuesday expressed his desire to see Suresh Raina again in the national team and hopes to see former captain MS Dhoni play international cricket again.
Rohit Sharma interacted with Suresh Raina in a live Instagram session as the duo spoke on various topics from CSK Batsman’s injury to MS Dhoni’s return to international cricket.
Rohit told Suresh that there have always been conversations within the squad that Raina deserves a place considering CSK Batsman’s skills and experience.
“I know it is very difficult to be off the team after playing for so many years. We used to talk that we should have Raina on the team in some way. You have the experience and the ability to bowl and play on the field.”
