The ongoing war of words between Kangana Ranaut and politician Sanjay Raut heated up on Sunday after the actor responded to the Shiv Sena leader saying that he does not represent all of Maharashtra.
“Sanjay Raut ji, if I criticize the Mumbai police or if I criticize you, you cannot say that I am insulting Maharashtra. You are not Maharashtra, ”Ranaut said in a video message.

“Mr. Sanjay Raut, you called me ‘haramkhor ladki’. You know how many girls are raped every day in the country, how many of them are tortured and killed, sometimes by their own husbands. And do you know who is responsible for all this? It is this mentality that you displayed without shame in front of the entire country. The daughters of this country will never forgive you, ”Ranaut said in the video.
The actor also responded to Raut’s warning that he will face the consequences of his comments if he returns to Mumbai. “Your people are threatening me, I will still go to Mumbai on September 9,” he added.
The genesis of this verbal duel is found in a tweet from Ranaut on Thursday in which the actor said “Why does Mumbai feel like Pakistani-occupied Kashmir?”
Reacting to the death of Sushant Singh Rajput, he said in another tweet: “After a major star was killed, I spoke about drug trafficking and the film mafia, I don’t trust the Mumbai police because they ignored the complaints from SSR. He told everyone they would kill him but they killed him. If I feel insecure, does that mean I hate the industry and Mumbai? “
In an editorial in the Sena Saamana spokesperson, Raut responded and asked Ranaut not to return to Mumbai for criticizing the Mumbai police. On Friday, he had urged the Maharashtra government to take action against people who defame the city police.

On Sunday, Raut said that he will apologize to Ranaut only if she apologizes for her comments. “If that girl (Kangana) apologizes to Maharashtra, I will think about apologizing.
