More than 67 more people died from the coronavirus in Uttar Pradesh on Sunday, while the state posted a record daily peak of 6,233 cases, bringing its Covid-19 count to 2,25,632.

The process of Unblocking the country had begun on June 1 with the gradual reopening of commercial, social, religious and other activities.

Unlock 4 will go into effect from September 1 and will continue until September 30. The lockdown on containment zones in the state will remain in effect until Sept. 30, the order says, adding that the district magistrate cannot enforce the lockdown locally.

There will be no restrictions on interstate and intrastate movement, he said.

As of September 21, 50% of the teaching and non-teaching staff may be summoned for online education work. The Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare will issue the standard operating procedure for this.
