One day after Uddhav Thackeray launched a covert attack on Kangana Ranaut during Shiv Sena’s annual rally in Dussehra, the actor retaliated on Monday, calling the Chief Minister “the worst product of nepotism.”

“Raut called me Haramkhor now Uddhav called me namak haram, he is claiming that I will not get food in my state if Mumbai does not give me shelter, what a shame I am the age of his son, this is how he talks to a single woman who made herself, prime minister, you are the worst product of nepotism, ”Ranaut said in a tweet.

“Chief Minister I am not drunk from the power and wealth of my father like you, if I wanted to be a product of nepotism I could have stayed in Himachal, I am from a recognized family, I did not want to live on his wealth and favors, some people have self-love and self-esteem ”, he added.

In a veiled attack on Ranaut for comparing Mumbai to Pakistani-occupied Kashmir (PoK), Thackeray had said on Sunday: “Those who come to Mumbai for bread and butter are abusing Mumbai by comparing it to PoK,” and described those people as “namakharam (ungrateful)”.

Comparing Mumbai to PoK was an insult to Modi, who has been prime minister for six years and had vowed to take back PoK, Thackeray said. “You cannot put your foot in PoK. But if a PoK is being created in a country governed by Modi, then it is the failure of the PM and not the state, ”he said.

In another tweet, Ranaut also responded to the CM’s “Ganja fields” at the Himachal gybe. “Being a leader who has such vengeful, shortsighted, and misinformed views on a state that has been the abode of Lord Shiva and Maa Parvati along with many great saints such as Markandya and Manu Rishi, Pandavas spent much of his exile in Himachal. Pardesh, ”he said in a tweet.

Thackeray and another Shiv Sena leader have come under fire from Kangana for the death of Sushant Singh in June this year. Ranaut later accused Thackeray of “misusing power” and declared that his voice would not be suppressed.

She had also said that the Maharashtra government was trying to imprison her after a complaint was filed against her in a Mumbai court for “spreading hatred and breaking the brotherhood, the integrity of the country” through her provocative statements. “
