This video might make you stop and stare in disbelief – to show the unlikely sight of an old woman, to drag and throw a huge cobra away – as casually as if it were a length of rope in place of a poisonous snake. The video, which is being widely distributed online, was shared this morning on Twitter by the Indian Forest Services officer Susanta Nanda, who identified the snake as a cobra.
In the video, the age of the woman is seen walking with the snake, held firmly in one hand, dragging behind her. After crossing an open compound surrounded by houses, she comes to an open space and throws the cobra away.
“Grandma that is not the way to treat a COBRA,” wrote Mr. Nanda, while sharing the video on the platform of microblogging.

Looks like a village in the state of Gujarat. Based on the commentary of the girl, probably from Saurashtra.

The date video appeared on Reddit two days ago, and since then it has made its way to other platforms of social media such as Facebook and Twitter. It is not the only cobra video that has left the social media users surprised of the afternoon. Recently, a video of a man giving a bath to a king cobra had also gone viral.
