New York, one of the Covid-19 access points, saw the number of deaths dipped below 100 for the first time since March 24. On Saturday, New York city reported 84 deaths in the last 24 hours, in what Governor Andrew Cuomo described as a “critical” reference”.

Until now, New York has informed 3,55,500 cases and 24,100 deaths according to data from the John Hopkins University.

The number of dead reached its maximum value in 799, on the 8th of April. On the other hand, the mortality rate has not climbed more than 6.7 percent since May 10. Even the Thursday and Friday, the figure was 109 and 105, respectively.

On the afternoon of Friday, Cuomo signed an order to allow people to gather in groups of up to 10 as long as they stay at least 6 feet from other people and wear masks.
