On Wednesday, the Shiv Sena criticized Uttar Pradesh’s Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath for his attempts to reach out to Bollywood personalities and said it is not easy to move the film city of Mumbai elsewhere, although attempts have been made.

Adityanath had previously revealed an ambitious plan to establish a film city and launched an open offer to the film fraternity to come to Uttar Pradesh.
“It is not easy to move the film city of Mumbai to another place. It’s okay to do a great project. But what happened to a film city that settled in Noida a few years ago? Will it share the status of that film city? The film industry in South India is also large and there are also film cities in West Bengal and Punjab. Will Yogi Ji also visit these places to interact with the producers and actors? Or do you just have a problem with Mumbai? Raut asked while speaking to the media.
“Before, attempts were made. It is difficult to replicate the Mumbai film industry elsewhere. Mumbai has a glorious film history and past, ”said Raut. He also asked if Uttar Pradesh CM will change the bungalows of Bollywood actors such as Jalsa, Pratiksha and Ramayan.
BJP’s state unit has also said that it was not about moving Bollywood out of Mumbai, as the film industry has a special attraction and appeal, which is not possible outside of Mumbai.

But they are not aware of our magnetic power. It is so powerful that no industry in Maharashtra will go to its state. Instead, industries from other states can come to Maharashtra, ”Thackeray said at an IMC Chamber of Commerce and Industry event. He urged the IMC to be the brand ambassador for Maharashtra, as that will encourage investment in the state, not only from other parts of the country but also from abroad.
