Will team India wear a retro 1992 WC jersey for a limited series in Australia?

With IPL 2020 finished and dusted off, the Indian team has embarked on a two-month tour of Australia starting from November 27.

The contingent left Dubai with specially designed PPE kits and the team will be led by Virat Kohli to play 3 T20I, 3 ODI and 4 events.

While the team is gearing up for the tour with new capless players joining the team, rumors have been floating around social media about the jersey the team will wear for limited overs.

According to an Outlook report, the India team is reported to be sporting a new jersey for limited overs games that is similar to the ones worn during the 1992 World Cup.

When the news spread, cricket fans started freaking out on Twitter.

The 30 cricketers from the ODI, T20I and Test squads travel together and will observe a mandatory 14-day quarantine after landing in Australia.

The three ODIs will be played on November 27, 29 and December 2 at Sydney Cricket Ground and the Manuka Oval in Canberra, respectively.

The first T20I will also be played in Canberra on December 4 and the remaining two on December 6 and 8 at the Sydney Cricket Ground. The first test set to be played under lights from December 17-21 at the Adelaide Oval.
