Indian spinner Harbhajan Singh on Saturday (September 12) created a stir on social media when he posted the following message from his official Twitter account.
The 40-year-old wrote (translated): “Cricket is trending in the news these days. I just heard something that will change the way you look at cricket forever.”

What the veteran spinner means by this cryptic message remains to be seen, but it has surely created a lot of media frenzy.
The cricket player also used the hashtag “CricketKaKhulasa”, which translates to “cricket reveal.”
The cricketer had been in the news recently when he was excluded from the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) squad ahead of the upcoming IPL 2020 in the UAE for personal reasons. The bowler did not come forward to explain exactly what was the reason for his decision and reports simply suggested that he had decided to exclude himself from this issue for the sake of his family amid a growing number of positive COVID cases.
CSK, which already has a strong FX contingent with Imran Tahir, Mitchell Santner, Piyush Chawla and Ravindra Jadeja, among others, did not name a replacement for the veteran spinner. Cricket experts and several former players had said CSK will miss Harbhajan’s experience on the slow slopes of the United Arab Emirates, which will help the spinners.
Harbhajan’s IPL record speaks for itself and has been a vital cog for Chennai and also for the Mumbai Indians, his former IPL team. In 160 IPL matches, Harbhajan has collected 150 wickets at a phenomenal T20 economy rate of 7.05.
