LUCK: The wife and son of a Senior Railroad Officer were found murdered in the government bungalow below Gautam Palli Police Station in Lucknow on Saturday.
Rajesh Dutt Bajpai is the CEO, Railway boardsaid the rail PRO. Rajesh’s wife Malti (45) and their son Sarvadutt (20) were found murdered.
Uttar Pradesh The Director General of Police, HC Awasthy, also visited the bungalow to take stock of the situation.
Lucknow Police Commissioner Sujeet Pandey said: “RD Bajpai’s wife and son have been shot and killed. Prima facie, it does not look like a loot case. We are investigating the matter.”
“The domestic workers were at home. The daughter is at home and is in trauma. Both bodies were found in bed,” he added.
DCP Central Somen Barma said the exact sequence of events was unclear and a relative informed police about the incident. “The son was shot in the head, while the wife was shot in the chest,” the officer said.
