They say the best makeup is without makeup. Many people simply object to the use of makeup for various reasons. But then again, very few people can successfully perform the “no makeup” look.

Kareena Kapoor Khan is one of those actresses who can carry everything she wears. And it takes off the makeup-free look just as easily. Actresses are often criticized for wearing makeup 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, however Kareena’s no makeup look can also make heads turn.

The actress, on Tuesday, posted a new photo of herself on her Instagram profile and it goes without saying that her flawless skin and makeup-free appearance left fans in awe. In the picture, Kareena can be seen taking a selfie while sunbathing without an ounce of makeup.

Sharing the selfie, Kareena captioned it in her own style. She wrote: “Because the eyeshadow is too common!” Check out the actress’s post here:

At a time when stars and influencers on social media have flooded our deadlines with the abundance of makeup tutorials, it can be refreshing to see Bollywood’s A-list actress ditch makeup and embrace her natural beauty.

Previously, the actress proudly showed off her zit sans filter on her Instagram, sending messages of self-esteem and positivity on her skin. On Kareena’s Instagram, selfies without makeup with skin covered in blemishes and freckles are always in sight, which has been taboo for many actresses who would not dare to post a photo without covering or using a filter.
