These borders are open to the public:
- People can use Apsara border on GT Rd, Bhopura border on Wazirabad road and DND flyover for Delhi from UP side.
- Borders of Dhansa, Daurala, Kapashera, Rajokri NH 8, Bijwasan / Bajghera, Palam Vihar and Dundahera.
Borders closed to traffic:
- An NH 24 carriageway for UP to Delhi is closed to traffic at the Gazipur border.
- Also, the road from Noida to Delhi on the Chilla border is closed to traffic.
- Tikri and Jharoda borders closed due to traffic flow
Partially open borders:
- The Badusarai border is open only for light motor vehicles and two-wheelers.
- Jhatikaraborder open only for two-wheelers.
The protesting peasants had threatened Wednesday to block other roads in the national capital if their demands were not met.
A representative group of protesting farmers is meeting today with Piyush Goyal and Narendra Tomar for the second round of talks with the government.
Meanwhile, the Delhi police have kept the Haryana-Delhi border at Singhu and Tikri closed to traffic for eight days in a row.
As traffic overflowed onto alternative routes, there were also long traffic jams.
On Wednesday, their seventh day of protest, farmers demanded that a special session of Parliament be convened to repeal the new farm laws.
Farmers unions also called for a nationwide protest on Saturday to oppose what they called for the corporatization of agriculture.
