PUBG Mobile India set the Indian gaming market on fire after releasing trailers for a comeback weeks after the Indian government banned the popular game over security concerns.
PUBG Mobile India APK version was released on Friday on the company’s official website for a couple of hours. The APK version was available for download, but players had a hard time downloading it. An APK version was also released on Friday for some Android users.
There is no denying the fact that millions of PUBG lovers in India are waiting for the game’s relaunch, but it is still unclear when the official PUBG Mobile India will be released in India.
The official PUBG Corporation has not issued a statement. According to a report by Inside Sport, the PUBG Mobile game will not be released in India unless the game company gets permission from the central government.
The Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology that had banned PUBG has not yet officially allowed PUBG’s relaunch in India.
It should be noted that KRAFTON has partnered with Microsoft Azure to address the issue of personal data theft and security breach. The removal of Tencent, a Chinese entity for PUBG Mobile in India, has now become clear that there is no presence of any Chinese firm in PUBG India.
Meanwhile, PUBG has said that it is preparing to launch PUBG Mobile India, a new game created specifically for the Indian market. The Indian subsidiary will hire more than 100 employees specializing in business, esports and game development, PUBG Corp said.
