“Tell Dr. Arup that one day I will learn his steps and dance as well as he did in Assam. Fantastic spirit, ”the actor wrote on Twitter.
The performance took place in the recovery room of the Silchar Medical College & Hospital, in the presence of some patients and a team of doctors.
“It was the last of seven days of grueling duty on the Covid ward,” Dr. Senapati said, “We were going to start our mandatory quarantine the next day; my colleagues had already told me that I should dance on the last day of my duty. “
“They were very happy,” said Dr. Senapati, as he spoke of his patients’ response. “And I also. I just wanted to keep morale high. The week had been difficult, it is difficult to work on the EPP … while the recovery rate has improved in Assam and things are looking better, the war is far from over, we are still working every day to overcome this.
Dr. Senapati has been an avid dancer, since his college days at Gauhati Medical College & Hospital, participating in various competitions and even winning some.
