New Delhi:
Prime Minister Narendra Modi said today that the people of Bihar have made a “decisive decision” to give development a chance as the results of the assembly elections continue to pour in, showing the ruling NDA leading on 122 seats and the alliance opposition in 113 seats.
Prime Minister Modi’s tweets came minutes after Interior Minister Amit Shah declared the victory in Bihar of the BJP-led National Democratic Alliance (NDA), despite the fact that there are still 50 seats.
“Bihar has taught the world the first lesson in democracy. Today Bihar has told the world again how democracy is strengthened. A record number of poor, disadvantaged and Bihar women also voted and today they have also made their decisive decision for development. “PM Modi tweeted in Hindi.
“The village poor, farmers, workers, traders, shopkeepers and all sections of Bihar have relied on the mantra of sabka saath, sabka vikas, sabka vishwas. Once again I assure all the citizens of Bihar that for the balanced development of each person, each region, we will continue to work with full dedication, “tweeted Prime Minister Modi.
“The youth of Bihar have made it clear that this new decade will be for Bihar and Bihar self-sufficient is their roadmap. The youth of Bihar have relied on their strength and determination from the NDA. This youthful energy has now encouraged the NDA to work harder than before. Every voter in Bihar has clearly stated that he or she is an aspirant and that the priority is the one and only development. The blessings of good governance from the NDA again after 15 years in Bihar show which ones are the dreams of Bihar, what are the expectations of Bihar, “said Prime Minister Modi.
