The company has not made any official announcements or provided additional details about the package, however users have reported that the free package is valid for seven days. The free Vodafone Idea package is very close to Reliance Jio, offering its users 2GB per day of free data with a validity of four days. It is not clear how Vodafone Idea users were selected or the eligibility criteria to receive the offer.

Users have reported that data eligibility can be verified by dialing 121363 on a Vodafone Idea connection. Users who are eligible for the offer are said to receive an SMS confirming the bonus package.
Users who are not eligible for the offer are said to receive a voice message informing users of their ineligibility.

Vodafone Idea offers double data in selected circles

The Rs 449 and Rs 699 plans offer benefits similar to the Rs 299 plan but valid for 56 days and 84 days respectively.
