VITEEE 2021 registration begins for B.Tech courses, check eligibility, key dates, direct link to register here – education


VITEEE 2021: Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT) has started the online registration process for its B.Tech (engineering) entrance exam, that is, the VIT Engineering Entrance Exam (VITEEE) 2021. The registration window at line is open from November 30 to March 30. Candidates wishing to take the entrance exam can register online at viteee.vit.ac.in before the deadline.

According to the tentative schedule, VITEEE 2021 will take place in the second or third week of April next year and your counseling will begin from the first week of May. The academic session will begin from the second week of July 2021.

Age limit: Candidates born on or after July 1, 1999 are eligible to apply for VIT -UG Engineering Admission (UGEA) 2021. The date of birth recorded on the High School Certificate / SSC / X will be considered authentic.

Eligibility:

Candidates applying for undergraduate admission in engineering in 2021 must have achieved a minimum aggregate of 60% in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics / Biology in the qualifying exam (+ 2 / Intermediate).

The average marks obtained in the subjects of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics or Biology (PCM / PCB) in +2 (or its equivalent) together must be a minimum aggregate of 50% for the following categories:

1. Candidates belonging to SC / ST

2. Candidates from Jammu and Kashmir / Ladakh and the northeastern states of Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Sikkim and Tripura. COMMUNITY / NATIVITY VERIFICATION CERTIFICATE must be presented at the time of the assessment, failing which they will not be considered for admission.

Subject eligibility:

Candidates who have studied Math / Physics / Chemistry at +2 / Upper Secondary Board are eligible for all B.Techs. Programs

Candidates who have studied Biology / Physics / Chemistry at + 2 / Higher Secondary Board are only eligible for the following Bio stream programs. Upon joining, students are required to enroll in a bridge course in Mathematics

Technology B. Computer Science and Engineering with a specialization in Bioinformatics (VIT, Vellore)
