NEW DELHI: Rahul Tewatia gained fame overnight with his winning performance for Royals of Rajasthan (RR) against Kings XI Punjab, when all seemed lost for his team, thanks to five big six in one lap. But on Saturday, Tewatia and the Royals found themselves in a losing position after going down to Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB).
However, the SUV had reason to smile when India and the RCB captain, virat Kohli, gifted the RR off-roader with an autographed RCB t-shirt.
“Rahul Tewatia is ecstatic when he receives an autographed Virat Kohli jersey,” said a tweet on the official name Indian Premier League (IPL), which is currently in the UAE.
“Moments That Matter Most,” the tweet added.
