Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma and cricket player Virat Kohli have been blessed with a baby girl. Virat took to social media to share that the couple welcomed their first child on Monday afternoon. He added that “Anushka and the baby are healthy.”

Virushka, while lovingly addressed by their fans, announced in August 2020 that they will be adding another member to the family. In identical tweets, they had written: “And then, there were three of us! It will arrive in January 2021 ❤️ “.

In an interview with Vogue, Anushka said that she only ate toast and cookies during her first trimester. “I only ate toast and cookies for the first three months. Anushka and Virat got married on December 11, 2017 in Italy. Only family and close friends attended the wedding. The couple hosted two wedding receptions in India, one in Delhi and one in Mumbai.
