The inhabitants of Delhi can be fined ₹10,000, which can be combined with ₹5,500 under the modified MV Law. The operation will reportedly be carried out in nine of the 11 districts currently. A team has been deployed to each district for action.

The Delhi Traffic Police will now take strict measures to ensure vehicle owners obtain color-coded and HSRP stickers.
However, vehicles that have requested HSRP and color-coded stickers will not be fined for now. The owner of the vehicle must present the receipt of the request that he requested.
Currently, vehicles registered from other states are also not included in this.
The notice, issued by the department of transportation, had urged vehicle owners to obtain HSRP in the event they fail to do so, for which they are subject to prosecution under the motor vehicle (MV) law.
The notice read: “The general public is informed that the installation of HSRP including the third registration mark (color-coded label) on new and old vehicles in the National Capital Territory (NCT) of Delhi is a requirement. mandatory … for old / existing vehicles it is recommended that they contact interested dealers (of your vehicle make) to have HSRP and / or color-coded stickers affixed to their vehicles. “
The notice issued is in line with the order issued by the Ministry of Road and Highway Transport (MoRTH) requiring that all vehicles sold in India before April 1, 2019 have a high security license plate and decals encoded by colors.
